Yeah, unless someone has a better alternative. Fantasy Grounds seems cool and all, but I'd rather not have everyone either buy or pirate a piece of software just for my campaign.

Mel and I were/are discussing character ideas and if he's not going to be there we definitely need a tank or frontline fighter, but if he is, Mel's got a lot of options.

I haven't caught you online yet to ask, and you haven't responded to my forum PM so I am just going to post my question here.

Also, the PHB wasn't very clear. Do I get to chose what caster level I am creating a scroll or such? This is important because a 1st level scroll of magic missile costs 25 x1 (level of the spell) x 1 (caster level) = 25g to make. If I don't get to chose, the same scroll would be 25x1x2 = 50g. This is rather bad, as it doubles the amount of gold required. Also, If I can chose for the scroll, would I also be able to chose level 1 for potions even though I didn't gain the feat until level 2?

I should be able to do a fair amount of nuking with scrolls, as well as lots of utilitarian use. Not to mention I can make scrolls for other casters.

EDIT: When I'm at work, I rely on RSS to keep me posted on the forums, and lately, I've only been online while at work. Keeping up with my RSS feeds is easier, and it doesn't look like I'm wasting time when I do it, cuz it's less obvious.

I'm really doubting I'll be able to make this weeks session. I'm scheduled to come in for a meeting with my bosses boss at 6, and it's supposed to last 2.5-3 hours.
I've got my schedule for November. I work a few fridays, too. Will post availabilities later tonight.
