The new client has entered open beta, its available for download at http://www.opnpw.com/files/beta/OPnPW_Client_New.exe . Feel free to browse and test it, bear in mind this is beta software, and is undergoing constant development.

Drotain server is back up. So I can slow the resources being sucked into the secondary, but mine will go up eventually.

A new server will be up in the next week or two weeks, thanks for your patience, and be ready to get back in the game!

Once again I had to purge the forum of cruft in order to secure it better against SpamBots. If your account was accidentally deleted, please re-create it. In order to avoid these automatic deletions, I encourage you to post more often, to help stand out from the sulking bots.

The coming week is finals week for me, after that I just have work. As of late I've wanted to give OPnPW one more solid go, a huge re-do of some parts, and run the server on a decent machine on my own for better up-time.
However, I don't want to re-do a project just to see it wither a way, so I'd like to know how many people are still on, how many people still enjoy a campaign romp and who has ideas, who likes something, who thinks its perfect.

I have an update out, with a few fixes and a new feature or two, I hope to package it up and release it within the next weeks.

The user list was purged of many user accounts, where the users appeared to be either robot-scripts joining the forum, or otherwise suspicious. If your account was removed by mistake, then please re-create and PM me. The biggest indicator was however, post-count and reg-date, so perhaps posting here in response would be a good start.

I examined many factors of each user, in an attempt to not delete active members, but nothing is fool-proof, so sorry if this ends of inconveniencing anyone.

I've disabled the guest function within the news area, I never really thought it'd be open to abuse as it was. Oh well, thats the brave new world huh?

I've got some stuff planned for OPnPW, But I'm hedged on if its worth it or not. We'll see, community input is appreciated.
